It’s AGM time again. Do come and join us at Acaster Malbis Memorial Hall on Tuesday 28 March 2023 at 19.30 for our short AGM, after which we will move on to our Marjorie Harrison Memorial Lecture. This year’s lecture is entitled: Acaster: the camp by the river – New research into the history of Acaster Malbis and will be delivered by our Chair, Catrina Appleby, and Dr Ailsa Mainman.

Subscriptions are due at the AGM and this year we are changing our charging policy. Membership is now £10 per year, but Members will get free entry to our regular meetings. Non-members are very welcome to attend at a charge of £4.

Our Secretary, Chris Robinson, keeps his eyes open on the internet for things relating to the South Ainsty area. He recently came across a reference on a Great War forum that led him to photos of Copmanthorpe Airfield.
